Highlands Harbor Homeowners Assn Minutes of Meeting November 9, 2017 People Present: Dee Parker, Richard Bailey, Joe Colabella, Henry Bornstein, Carolynn Jarrett The purpose of this meeting was to review changes Henry had made to existing bylaws. Henry will have revised bylaws and a short summary of the revisions ready to be mailed to active members by Dec 10. HOA MEETING 9/19/17 - 10:00am CALL TO ORDER - President Dee Parker called the meeting to order. Dee welcomed the members. Dee asked for a reading of the last meeting’s report MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING - Secretary Art Keller read the minutes of the 8/9/16 meeting. FINANCIAL REPORT - Treasurer Henry Bornstein presented the finances as of 9/19/17. Henry reported a bank balance of $7862.18. Henry stated that the balance rose with dues paid by 41 members. Creeping Water Primrose Is On Your Waterfront
What the heck does that mean, you say? It means our wonderful waterfront that we all use and enjoy is about to become less enjoyable. Water Primrose is considered by biologists to be the most invasive of water plants. It has been a problem in Europe and the Eastern United States for years. Lakeport Lagoons on Main Street in Lakeport has to clear the plant away every year to get their boats in and out. HOA Meeting 12/1/14
The HOA met at Joe Colabella’s house where the meeting was called to order by President Dee Parker. After welcoming the attendees, Dee discussed the need for a Vice President on the Association Board. After a short discussion, no resolution or motions were offered. Dee called on Henry Bornstein, HOA Treasurer, to report on the Association finances. Henry reported on the bills he had paid and that all the filing fees to the State of California had been paid.
