Minutes of Meeting
November 9, 2017
People Present: Dee Parker, Richard Bailey, Joe Colabella, Henry Bornstein, Carolynn Jarrett
The purpose of this meeting was to review changes Henry had made to existing bylaws. Henry will have revised bylaws and a short summary of the revisions ready to be mailed to active members by Dec 10. (Bylaw changes must be sent 30 days prior to be voted on)
Carolynn will draft a newsletter to be sent to all homeowners (active and inactive) explaining the reasons and process for changing the bylaws. This letter will encourage members to pay dues to become active members so they can vote (or be officers).
The letter will include an update on Measure D and code enforcement issues. After a draft is okayed by the board this letter will be sent ASAP.
A special meeting will be held ( tentatively) at the LL Methodist Church on Saturday January 13th at 2 pm for the purpose of voting on the new bylaws. Dee will check on the availability of the church for that day. Light refreshments may be served.
We need at least 15 active owners (15 dues-paying households) to constitute a quorum. Other topics for this special meeting may include: the need for officers and the fire safety issue with bordering cottonwoods.
